Overall: B-
Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius has to save the day when earth's parents are kidnapped by hungry aliens. While animated violence and name-calling are causes for concern, it does contain some positive atom-sized partials, such as the importance of parental involvement in bedtime rituals.
Violence: B-
During flight sequence, character outruns military jets, experiences engine trouble, runs into electrical wires, church bell, billboard and several buildings before crashing into house. Parents briefly discuss avoiding strangers. Boy runs into tree and falls in garbage can. Another boy falls out of tree. Character sprays himself in eyes. Character mistakenly shrunk and then attacked by worm: pencil used like sword. Character hits wall etc. while flying through air. Character wearing jetpack bangs around room, causing some damage and fire. Alien eats hedgehog-like animal. Characters discuss eating humans and/or sacrificing them to their god. Aliens plan to eat characters. Character falls and is inadvertently kicked. Characters shown on several scary amusement park rides. Characters abducted. Several scenes depict explosions including one where eyeballs pop out of face. Character discusses possibility of being blown up. Characters caught in meteor shower. Character tells scary story. Characters captured, thrown in dungeon. Boy scared by spider. Aliens shock characters with spears. Characters put under mind-altering mechanism. Giant alien involved in fight scene where characters are chased and threatened. Animal bites alien. Mechanical character explodes at least twice. Alien threatens to vaporize characters.
