Overall: B+
After inheriting an Alaskan sled dog team, Dr. Ted Brooks finds himself with more questions than answers...especially about his past. While parents should be aware of the mostly slapstick violence involving animals and sledding adventures, there is much to be said about family love and the positive aspects of adoption.
Violence: B-
Character has numerous encounters with animals including being attacked by dogs, chased by a bear, and sprayed by a skunk. Character is involved in several sledding accidents, falls through ice, and tumbles down treed mountainside. Character is punched. Character hit in head with ice block. Woman kicks and throws knife at man. Man bites dog. Man fires gun. One character challenges another to a fight.
